For webshops

Your customers ask, your catalogue answers.

Your product feed becomes exact filtering: by price, brand, category, stock and custom attributes. The price and link on each card always come from the database, never from the model's imagination.

Setup

Four steps to go live

We do the setup. All you need is your sitemap address and one approval.

01

Sitemap import

You give us your sitemap URL, and we pick in a tree view which pages go into the knowledge base.

02

Learning

The system extracts the body text, splits it at sentence boundaries and indexes it as vectors. PDF, DOCX, TXT and Markdown can be uploaded too.

03

Tuning

Template, tone, brand colour, logo, welcome message, custom instructions. Every chatbot has its own settings.

04

Embedding

A single script line in the footer — Shopify, WordPress, GTM or any site. The widget only appears on the allowed domain.

The embed code
<script async
  src="https://cdn.askbruxy.com/widget.js">
</script>
~38 kB
gzip, one request, async
0 keys
domain-based identification

The widget mounts into a Shadow DOM, so your site's CSS can't break it — and vice versa. No build step, no external dependencies, and the script loads asynchronously.

Features

What the widget does

Everything listed here works today in production code.

Streamed answers

Text appears word by word instead of popping in at the end. Typing and searching indicators show that the bot is working.

Source citations

Every answer lists the titles and links of the pages it used. Visitors can check them with one click.

Your own branding

A full colour palette derived from one brand colour, your own logo, a custom header title, bottom-right or bottom-left position.

Light, dark, auto

Auto mode follows the operating system setting and switches live. You can also toggle between a small and a large panel.

Designed for mobile

Below 600 pixels it becomes a full-screen panel that respects the notch and the home indicator, with background scroll lock.

Conversation resume

A returning visitor picks up where they left off within 24 hours — the last fifty messages are restored.

Proactive bubble

The panel opens by itself on a timer or on exit intent. Once per visitor, then it doesn't repeat for weeks.

Markdown in answers

Bold, italic, lists, tables, code blocks, safe links and images. Escape-first rendering, no XSS path.

Multiple chatbots

Several chatbots in one account, each with its own template, instructions, domain and even a fully separate knowledge base.

Webshop module

Recommends from your real catalogue, not from the model's imagination

Your product feed — Google Merchant RSS/XML, CSV, TSV — is loaded into a relational table. When a visitor asks to "show in-stock items between 20 and 40 thousand forints", the bot runs an exact filter: by price, brand, category, stock and custom attributes, with sorting and aggregation.

The price, image and link on the card always come from a database row. The model cannot generate a price or a URL — the server validates it.

Up to 150,000 products per feed, processed in parallel
Unknown columns are kept as custom attributes
Glossary: translates shoppers' wording into filters ("puppy" → age group)
The catalogue is a copy refreshed on a schedule, not a live API call
Product boxes on neatly arranged shelves in warm amber light
Knowledge gap report

It shows you what it couldn't answer

Every answer collects cheap signals: a weak match, an empty product search, a human handover, an "I have no information about this" type of reply. Overnight these are grouped into topics, with a label, a summary and a suggested answer.

You can close the loop: answer a topic with one click, the answer goes straight into the knowledge base and the topic is marked resolved. If the question comes up again, the topic reopens.

Raw questions are deleted together with the conversation retention period. So are topics that consist of a single, re-identifiable question.

Human handover

When it gets stuck, it calls a human — prepared

Before handing over, the bot asks one or two focused questions to understand the need. Then the visitor writes an email or asks for a callback, and you receive a summary of the conversation at the address you set — in four to six sentences, together with the contact details.

  1. 01

    The visitor asks

The bot answers from the knowledge base as long as it has coverage.

  2. 02

    It recognises the intent

In reactive mode it steps in when there is no answer or a human is requested; in proactive mode at the end of the conversation.

  3. 03

    It qualifies the need

One or two focused questions about what the solution is needed for and by when.

  4. 04

    It asks for details

Name and email address, or a phone number for a callback — depending on the settings.

  5. 05

    A notification goes out

A four-to-six sentence summary to the address you set, and a flag on the conversation.

Templates

Four templates, one foundation

The template sets the bot's goal, its product emphasis and its handover style. Your own instructions go on top.

general

General customer service

Neutral tone, informational focus. Good when the goal is to answer questions quickly.

support

Support

Knowledge-base-driven problem solving in steps, with human handover only when justified.

webshop

Webshop

Product presentation and purchase support, with active recommendations but no pressure.

leadgen

Lead qualification

At the end of the conversation it tactfully but proactively collects contact details.

Privacy and security

What we don't store doesn't need protecting

We don't store the visitor's IP address, user agent, cookies or fingerprint. The identifier is a signed session token that expires after thirty minutes.

Signed session token

Stateless HMAC token, 30-minute lifetime, server-generated identifier. The client cannot forge a session.

Allowed domains only

Exact match, no wildcards. On an unknown domain the widget silently doesn't appear at all.

Isolated storage

A separate vector collection per customer; product search is also filtered by account and chatbot.

Clean server logs

Logs deliberately contain no question or answer text, only technical identifiers.

Real deletion

When the retention period expires, a nightly job actually deletes the conversations instead of just hiding them.

Rate limiting

Twenty chat requests and five handover submissions per minute — against abuse and runaway costs.
